I have never harvested sesame myself but have seen it done around us. My understanding is that the sesame when dry shatters very easy and some do not replace the cylinder bars until after sesame because they say it works better not being to aggressive. I don't think a stripper head would work at all but may be wrong.

I plan to grow some next year where the wild hogs are to bad to grow milo and I have been reading Seasco's growers and harvesting guide on the internet to get an idea how to handle the crop.
