| To make the variety locator work you must pull all your planting data from the 2630 monitor and put it in apex (John Deere Farm Software). When you go to save the data back to the card you would pick everthing you want to save and also check the variety locator box. When you pick the variety locator box it will take you to another page and you must pick the fields you want variety locator to work in. When you put this information back into the 2630 when you go to pick variety locator make sure to fill out the crop type, brand, and variety ( any variety work, does not have to be specific to the field your in) then check the variety locator box. It should say next to it that this field has a variety locator file. It should work. | |
