With someone in the seat and the ignition key turned on and the pacer module set for both shoe/rotor, tap on the bottom side of each of the two sensors on the shoe and you'll see the needle go into the red. Now, do the same with the rotor loss sensor.....it should act the same way. Sure they can go bad as can the wiring to them.
