Subject: Grain loss "pads" do they go bad?

Texas/New Mexico Stateline
Have you ever had one quit sensing grain?

R72 Gleaner the monitor for rotor loss does not seem to be working. I have traced all the wire back to the cab and can't find anything wrong with it. Only way we can track rotor loss is have somebody drive a tractor close to the spreader and listen for grain. Not very handy.

I was just wondering if the "pad" maybe was bad.

The Old L never has had them changed as far as I know, and they still work. Might go rob one and swap it and just try it to see if it makes a difference.

Pacer works for shoe loss. Flip the switch to rotor only and don't get any reading.
