Northeast Missouri | With high-percentage Gelbvieh in our herd, bred heifers used to be a problem. (Had a heifer one time that the vet estimated, based on calf size, must have been bred when she was 3 1/2 months old!)
Now we Leut. heifers at weaning (did that on Saturday) and don't have the problem.
But this is the first time I've actually found an aborted fetus. I haven't looked up anywhere to estimate its age, but I'd think at least 2+ months.
