Texas/New Mexico Stateline | RE: raffle joke
Few months ago bought some tickets in a raffle to support a neighbor's medical bills. Couple weeks after the drawing the guy I bought the tickets from called me up embarrassed and told me my tickets did not get in the drawing due to oversight. Wondered if I wanted my money back. I told him just forget about it, as I bought the tickets to help the neighbor, not to win.
Anyway I appreciated his honesty as I would not have ever known if he hadn't called. |
