No, updating is not "the answer". But the scenario johnny laid out requires quite a lot of horsepower, and the fact is that Pro 600 is a 7 (almost 8) year old display at this point. The Pro 700 is a 3 year old display, and simply has more processing power. It is also getting software updates and new features, while the Pro 600 is not. If you want to stay with an older display with limited hardware and software capabilities, that's fine, but you can't expect it to work as well or handle as many tasks as a newer display. Just like you can't expect a Windows XP computer with a 1.2GHz processor and 512MB RAM to run as well as a Windows 7 computer with a 3.2Ghz quad-core processor and 8GB of RAM. Or a 2388 to do as much as a 7120. |
