I think you need diffusers. I put some on my rig this year and I have twice the push out of my fan now. I have a bourgault 5200 with montag diffusers now. I'm putting on 500 lbs acre of product and can push it fine. I bet your getting too much back pressure letting all the dust gum stuff up. The diffusers let a bunch of excess air out would guess 70 percent. I have mine about 5 inches frome the knife tube. I got the ones that port the air down to the ground trying not to get it all over my equipment. They do work wish I had them years ago.
