Farming in NW Iowa | Started taking some corn out today and discovered a hole worn through the clean grain elevator top boot. Have it patched for now, but New Holland part number 578661, now 80578861 is $1050!!! Good Grief! Seems like they don't want to sell any parts for these older machines. Any aftermarket suppliers with one of these available? Tried A&I, Abilene Machine, Shoup, Worthington Ag, All States Ag Parts, Howard Tractor and Combine, Herschel, Hy Capacity, Ag Parts, and came up with nothing. Prefer new over used I guess. I had the snap ring on the rotor speed adjusting shaft come off several times last week. New shaft is $660! That one got welded on!
