Wanted a bin that will hold a full semi load+ of feed. If can take a full load every feed mill/dealer around will compete for your business but much more limited in sources for smaller loads. Also no convenient electricity and don't want the maintenance of motor/auger,etc. Have handles corn gluten/soy hull/cottonseed hull mix and other commodity mixes. Bought the round bin because was told that they are less likely to bridge than square bins. I did lay down a gravel pad for mine but could set it on the ground if wanted to.
