Subject: RE: What I like about Pioneer corn

I have to say that after this year I am done with Pioneer.

I had 3 varieties this year 1739,1794, and 1498, and they all were severely Goose-Necked or green snaped by the July 3rd hurricane we had. In my test plot field I had 1739, Dekalb 6208, Dekalb 6469, and a Dyna-Gro hybrid in 16 rows each. replicated 4 times. The 1739 was the only one flat. And lost out by over 60 bu.

It seems like here the P brands arent consistent. Where as the Dekalb is.
