9910 can die before mature with the right disease conditions, but hating a company over one bad variety sounds bitter.   These rants make me laugh, because we have no idea if the corn ran way short on N causing the plant to die or if it was disease or if it had a tornado knock it over.  We just hear is that the whole company sucks.

If I got mad over every bad field I've grown in the last 25 years, I would be down to buying from Corny's Corn Company out of Back Woods USA, as they would be the only ones that hadn't had a bad field for me.
