| I have a samsung 3405W that has been a real work horse and recently it was acting up so I updated the firmware and now it doesn't recognize the toner cartridges we have for it (I have about 6 of these). I've tried down grading the firmware, but it doesn't seem to take. I think samsung 'fixed' this. There are some fixes out there for the samsung involving buying a new samsung toner and getting the toner chip to have unlimited pages and/or desoldering the rom chip in the printer and exchanging for a 'fixed' chip. I can do that, but I'd really rather find a laser printer that's more forgiving on toner cartridges if one exists. Any printers out there like that? thanks | |
