west central iowa | Dave, things are slow to drying out. Tonight i went out to level off some of the ruts and I about got stuck with the the mx275 disking and the disk was all the way up. Thrusday when We finished up soybeans I was sliding sideways down the hills in the mud. It's just so hit and miss with these spots. Feeder, the corn did end up too dry with the 5,000 bushel going in....20-21% All the other corn was 26-30%. We ran a gardenhose into the hopper of the westfield auger while unloading and it's just a matter of time when it will rain again so that will help the pile with the dust. I still have one more cement pour left before fall to set the other row of fenceline bunks on. Looks like that will be november work. | |
