| first poster said the halter was upside down....mho, it isnt a halter at all just a rope with a nose loop. Buy the kid a regular rope halter at any box store before the loop falls off and he gets drug half way to china. just tie it for periods of time a day helps it figure out what a halter is all about
Even a halter without a lead like a horse halter so you can catch him easier in a pen and stick the rope halter over it to practice walking. Adjust the head halter as he grows. A rope halter goes on with the lead loop pointed down on the left side of the calves head. short nose section over the nose . Most first timers do install upside down or inside out. | |
