Seaforth, Ontario

Deb, my wife had her gall bladder removed in the era or stem-to-stern incision too. 2 babies and 20 years later, she had a hernia where the internal incision tore. She had be opened up agaian and a mesh stitched in to reinforce abdomen wall.

Just before my 65th birthday in May, I woke up with a sore knee. I remembered waking up in the middle of the night with a sharp pain; my right foot had got tangled up in the sheets and when I tossed myself over, I tore my ACL. Same pain, but other knee, as football tear 45 years ago; What I figured would be 6 weeks recovery turned into 5 months. It just started feeling near normal when my wife fell and broke her humerus in 3 places, so now I am her nurse 24/7.
