Southwest OK | Yes. Best to build a boom to go over both spike so you don't put a twist in it. Will also give you more reach and room to work.
Two pipes over the spears with a cross brace and another pipe about two feet long welded to the center of the brace works well. A good size chain hook on the boom pipe is nice also. I like for the boom pipe to be at a about a thirty degree angle to the spears when they are all the way up. Makes it much easier to drive off with whatever you've just picked up. | |
