| Well it's already made accessible in one or two easy steps: Windows Mail files are included by default in the Windows Vista feature to backup files.

But yeah, each application seems to store their data files in different locations that require deep digging, Microsoft has "Local" and "Roaming" sub-folders that do not make much sense to me, they also have many duplicate folders or redirected shortcuts for backward compatibility reason, their ever-changing design guidelines are probably not very easy for programmers to understand, update or implement, etc. | |
