West of Lincoln a little bit | our doctor always told us kids that age got their nutrients by the week. meaning they could go days not being hungry, not eating much of anything and then make up for it later. his medical issues may complicate things slightly, but generally since he's eating something, even small by our standards, he will likely eat more later when he feels like it. just watch him for signs of malnutrition/lethargy, and consult with his doc if it goes on too long. 4 yr olds don't always eat much anyway and if he's still feeling poorly, I wouldn't worry just yet. |
