Comment on what you do at combine time.
Do the still standing stalks cause problems with clipping low enough?
I'm gonna find out cuz I have 2 acres that got no tilled way late into standing stalks - due to spring flooding - with no P&K and no burn down.
I did get a PRE put down before emergence though.
Not knowing all that would happen I had kept the corn head high during harvest as usual so I have stalks still standing knee high. The rest of the 80 acres was worked down in the spring.
The interesting point is that everything was done "wrong" yet those 2 acres are the biggest, bushiest beans I have and cost me less to put in
