Subject: RE: Pima Cotton growers

Corn here is planted the last week in feb and the first week in March. The skip row idea is for guys on 30" rows. We have planted 30" skip on a good part of our acres for 2 years now and it has yeilded right with our solid 36". Yes your right it seems to be. 4 to 6 weeks longer than upland here, I do not know about any differences in defoliation.

We would grow some if we still had a Pima gin, but it shut down in the early 2000s. My dad and I kick our selfs for not buying it. The complete gin, most of the equipment, and 15 acres on I 35 could of been bought in 2005 for 300k.
