Van Horn.

Was talking to the Valley Gin manager the other day and he said some Pima was put in down there that would be hauled to Tornillo, as well. It is a less humid climate out here and people are on 36 or 40 inches. I will probably go 40.

Corn would go in "here" in March, down there possibly end of February? I was thinking of planting around tax day, but haven't got any definite plans yet.

The skip row comment makes me wonder: is that dryland Pima? I have not heard of that before.

Sounds like in that area it takes a full 6 weeks longer, based on planting earlier and harvesting later. Did those guys have to boll prep more than once? Have read that it is hard to defoliate.
