| Forget short go long, speak slowly and directly to your son. Trying to speak to the room will make it so much scarier. Most men have a tough time telling their sons they love them, that they are proud of them and such, this is your chance don't blow it off in two lines. Speaking to the joy the laughter he's brought your family, and maybe how he made you grow as a parent is always a nice touch. A personal story as long as it's positive in nature and cleared by your son usually plays well to your audience. Add blessing and such to personal taste. Best of luck. | |
