I prefer cutting at an angle and always do on 15" rows. On 30" rows it depends on whether the beans spring back up. Most of the time they'll spring up enough to get the cutterbar under them. If like last year when I had to cultivate to get Waterhemp they got flattened by the end skids and I had to run with the rows.
