Subject: Getting born to farm kids to study at school

NC Indiana
I see post on here of kids rushing home to help farm and I have 1 of those kids. He can tell you almost anything you want to know about farming and cattle or our equipment and even the equipment/cattle where my BIL works and will ask a million questions to learn more. But then trying to get him to do his school work is a whole other discussion. He is in 3rd grade (9) and can turn a 1 page math or reading homework into an all night project that's a combination of "Whose on First", ten thousand guesses, and who are you again, and no way is he going to ask a question in class. Are any of you having troubles with your "all I ever want to do is farm kids" doing there school work? Have you figure anything out to help them with their studies?

Thanks!
