They are worth every penny u spend. I have a 84" heavy grapple that works great. But I have power and weight behind it. It works well just skimming the surface of ten inches below. The deeper u go the dryer the ground needs to be so the mud doesn't stick to the bucket. Also the wider the tooth or bar spacing the better for separating loose material, less packing of mud and snow. The narrower the tooth the finer the material u can pick up. But plugs in snow and mud.
