Soldiers Grove Wi. 54655
BTU wise corn I believe has 500,000 per bu. LP has 100,000 per gallon.. Last year even at $$4-$5 corn it would have still been cheaper to heat with corn than burn the lp..
I've been looking into a good corn stove for my house as well as shop.. There is a company in ILL. that has a pretty good one that is easier to clean. I believe cleaning out the clinker in the stove when burning corn is one of the drawbacks for many..
