| runningihred, mine wore off this year and I cut a soft pine board that was slightly longer to support the chain better. I think it helped but the stubble has almost wore though the board on the bottom side where the rows go. A denser board would last longer but thats what I had on hand. A good board really helps to keep the chain on.
You guys know how to take off the rotary contact that powers the electric clutchs? I think I can save it but I will have to remove it to put the wires back in it. Stalks ripped mine off today. I cann't tell if it has a roll pin or an allen set screw in it. Will it come off on the forward clutch without removing the clutch? Tight spot by the frame. Thanks. Tom | |
