Foliar feeding wheat can be very successful as well as on any crop. The trick is to make sure that the products themselves have scientific factual data that has been pier reviewed to attest to its performance. I have seen foliars applied to winter wheat at specific timing add 15 to 18 bu. per acre as well as increase CP to over 14%. Tissue sampling will not guarantee you that the products you apply actually make it into the crop and to the roots as needed. A good fertilizer salesman knows when to pull samples to show either a good test or bad.
