Subject: RE: Dr Oz today and Enlist

Central Iowa

Well, I don't really know about Dr. Oz being a "prick or a dumbass", I believe there are false claims being made on both sides of the issue. I have no more faith in the organic industry than the industrial/chemical complex's claims to feed the world. I don't believe either side has my best interests in mind.

What I do know is that since I have decided to be pro-active in dealing with weed resistance issues, I simply have no need for either the Enlist system or RR soybeans.

Practices such as early season burndown, pre-emerge with the planter, cultivation, nonGMO soybeans grown for a premium works well for me, and contributes to more responsible weed management stewardship. May not work for everybody, but there are alternatives and not waiting for next "bailout" via herbicide technology.
