candor ny
I haven't had a problem yet looking for parts. Had no clue it was a new idea in red till you mentioned it. Had a gehl 750 before the case ih and the gearbox for fwd and reverse went and found the one I have now on Craigslist and it was in great shape so I took a chance on it. Had three knives removed because something had went through it and it was about 600 just for the hardware to put them back in and I replaced the feed roll springs only because they had to be loosened for the snapper head and I broke the bolts off in the cast spring retainers but they were still available. Dave how often have you had to replace the belts? Mine are looking pretty rough but they keep working and is there some sort of guard under the head that protects the chain for the corn head. Mine has two tabs but nothing bolted to them. Seems once a year it comes off and I think a corn stalk gets caught in it and just drives it off.
