Is your bank known as a 'fair weather bank'? Or does it have a reputation of sticking with the farmer through the good and bad times? One local will solicit your business when corn is $6 and run like Forrest Gump when things get tight. They have done this twice in my farming career, twice quit giving ANY farm loans.
How did you choose your banker and why do you stay with them?
