Non-CNH trailed sprayer. I know a 3rd party ECU can be used for rate control with the PRO700 however is automatic boom section control supported via the PRO700 to 3rd party ECU. If possible is there an unlock required for the PRO700.
This depends on the kind of system you install. If you're looking at controlling a serial rate control system, then automatic section control is only supported for Rawson and Hardi systems (and remember that the Rawson/Hardi controller must be present - it's not replaced by the Pro 700.) Automatic section control is not supported for Raven or Flexicoil systems, though for Raven you could install a separate Smartboom system which would run independently of the 700. No Pro 700 unlock is required for serial rate control systems.
The other route you could go would be to install an ISOBUS system, in which case you would want to choose a controller that has automatic section control capability, like the Raven ISOBUS node, and then you could have automatic section control with an $800 unlock in the 700. |
