| Didn't know quite where to post this, but if someone bought a farm at auction couple months ago and paid an absolutely ridiculous price, put down 10 percent day of auction, and now after all the legal stuff completed and time to close, buyer gets serious case of buyers remorse? Can they walk away and forfeit the down payment, or are they contractually obligated to fulfill purchase? If this happens a couple times, and word gets out it's happening, could hamper auction sales. Any legal beagals out there? | |
