Texas/New Mexico Stateline | I know the subject has come up on this forum before about their warranty but I was so shocked today.
I have a very nice classic that no longer keeps drinks hot, and I had emailed them about a warranty claim. - No response.
Dreaded calling the 1-800 number because I figured I would get the ring around press this press that then talk to somebody in India. And dreaded having to pack it and pay shipping to send it back.
Nope. Three options, warranty #3 and immediately an American gal answered. Asked me a few questions about it, code from the bottom, "It looks like this bottle is covered by our lifetime warranty, and you have a manufacturing defect. Mark your bottle with an "X" to let others know it is defective, you may throw it away or recycle it......"
HUH? I don't have to send the old one back?
"No, keep it until your new one arrives in 7-10 days"
WOW!
I don't think I was on the phone but about 5 minutes. Did I say WOW!? |
