Subject: The Crop in Illinois is good this year right?

Doesn't Illinois sit with the Ohio river on the South.. the Mighty Miss on the West and the Illinois across the middle?  Shoot can't they dry corn.. load barges and float down to NOLA..??

There's NO REASON that we can not do 2.2 byn bushels this year on exports.. Heck We're BUILDING new Ethanol plants as we speak.. 1 in North Dakota plus another planned for South Dakota (kudo's to that group btw..) plus ramping up mothballed shuttered facilities..

Ethanol is CHEAP enough that we can EXPORT it starting NOW..

There's NO REASON we can not chew through a 14 byn bushel crop this year..

5.45 F and R.. (the R alone might be..??)

5.35 ethanol

1.4 Industrial

2.1 exports

Shoot that right there is 14.3  The Feedlots here are back to being full.. one nearby has been taking in about 30 loads per day bringing the doggies back from the grass.. They are small.. but given the $$$ they are worth NOW.. they will get feed FULL.. plus the porkers.. plus the broilers.. (plus the stink'in deer feeders.. did I mention about the outfit feeding $100 k of corn to the deer here..?!?)

Ethanol.. another good week.. at 931 vs 838 this week last year.. averaging 929 vs 843 last year.. 99.3 myn bu per week vs 90.1 myn bu last year.. 9.2 myn bushels per week better..  that's a bump of 250 myn bushels or more.. 478 if we could do that for the whole year...??

And I do not believe we have all the plants back online yet...  ??

Like the above poster said.. I don't believe we NEED China.. to get to 2+ byn of exports.. but "wouldn't hurt.." and some say their production loss is mounting... ??

Yal we can SURELY do 14+ byn demand.. no doubt.
