| It could very well be several different reasons including better weather for grass/hay production. The point I'm trying to make is that this year's FSA acreage report may have an influence acting on it that didn't occur the past three years. We may not be comparing apples to apples this year and with only three previous years to look at we'll just have to see how it plays out. The flip side is that they may also be behind on updating prevent plant acreage. The FSA has until December to get the grain acres correct so I'm told they have been prioritizing the livestock program as producers have been swamping the local offices in certain regions. | |
