Good point SAT...the FSA has also been prioritizing this year on the new permanent Livestock program at the expense of grains. So it may be they're running behind "normal" with their grain acreage reporting. Of course that means they may also be behind on reporting prevent plant acreage. Only time will tell for sure but combined with only 3 years worth of data to compare to it's too early to make concrete estimates.
