It was announced officially that Penske has bought 51% of DJR, a well established and previously successful V8 Supercar team here in Australia. They are bringing Marcos Ambrose home to drive for them. Penske has the distribution of Western Star trucks and other business interests down here now and plans to use motorsport to benefit these interests. This sounds like a great thing for V8 supercars series and us fans. Penske seems very business focussed and about results off the track as well as on.
