Don't know what to tell you. I have been telling them what I can afford and if that isn't enough rent it to some one else. I farm a lot less than I did a few years ago but am making more money than I would have otherwise.
You might want to offer a flex rent or a % of the crop. 25% of 200 bu corn at $8 is a lot of money! LOL
