This is a logistical thing, pure and simple. We need a major upgrade in handling facilities, but that hasn't gotten done yet unfortunately. Local elevators here were built for 715/4400 type combines. Trucking will be in very short supply for the next 90 days, every end-user will be jammed full with lines out the gate, and I don't want corn standing in snowdrifts at Christmas.
