Subject: RE: FSA September Data Implications on Planted Acres

Kansas
Heres another data point to look at.

RMA reported Corn acres as of today. 78,430,129 2014
RMA total reported for 2013 84,866,452 2013

Most of the acres should of been reported by now with bulk of the corn deadlines for acres on 7/15. Wish I could pull a report to see what it showed this time last year but haven't figured out if thats possible. Now some people do not insure their corn. Did we lose acres from people who insured them in the past and kept all the acres of the people that don't insure? Some of the state by state info looks close to Jonsks #s on some of his posts maybe a little lower which in those states look to be close to 100% reported in which they should be at this time of year
