Subject: FSA data Y to Y is down 6.6 myn acres 14 vs 13


Looking at the Year to Year change in the FSA reportedly planted to corn numbers 2013 vs 2014 on the SEPTEMBER report...

6,595,032 acre decline.. vs the June Plantings number from NASS which is

edit: Arrgghh I used NASS HARVESTED acres.. let's do planted.. (just changes the starting point.. still a big diff..)

95,365 2013

91,641 2014

3,724 decline.. a 2.87 myn acre difference.. ???

???  There could be a good reason but golly.. "that's a big difference"  guys a lot more pokey reporting this year....???
