Some of you guys should realize that cash traders see the cme futures as nothing more than a tool to establish a buy basis, a sell basis and a spread to connect the two. You take that tool away from your local elevator and you'll find out how necessary it is. Just because you don't use cme doesn't mean your buyer doesn't need it to stay in the business of hedging your grain.
