Subject: Transportation to the MAX.. and combine "issues."

Transportation is going to be maxed out this fall..

Cargill Wichita processor is trying to be at option.. (good luck with that btw..)  While just down the road a ways at Emporia Bunge is a Dollar over..  A DOLLAR.. not that it matters to me cause my first load of beans are probably going to the bins.. but golly that's a big difference.

Everyone needs EVERYTHING... Corn to the feedlots.. to the ethanol plants.. to export.. no wait.. Beans to Export.. to the processors.. Oh Wait.. What about getting it OUT of the FIELD.. We got guys who call commercial truckers just to get it OUT of the FIELD..  neighbor bought a back up JD 9870 "just in case.."

Said he was gonna put one on the corn head and one on the flex for beanies..  Heck One (1) running in decent corn will bury his trucking fleet.. nevermind the lines at the elevator..??

I asked him..  "Golly those JD combines are so unrelieable you GOT TO HAVE A BACKUP?!?

he he he.. that woke him up...;-)

"Should have got a Gleaner."
     (hand over heart)

Golly some days you wonder how anything gets done... ???

Only 4% done eh?

Just how many dumps does it take to bring in 14,395,378,296 bushels of corn?

oh.. and the beans also..??
