Tim in WI - 9/16/2014 19:14 Hang in there. There will be good years and bad years. Every year can't be the best ever.

I recall the year I averaged 15 bu per acre corn.  The blight hit all the non-detasseled corn, nobody had a crop.  I spent three days in deep depression after the harvest was over, trying to plan how I was going to afford to put in a crop the next year.

Then I realized that those big crop years were not all my own doing, I had the help from God.  I realized I could not control the crop size, and had to be content with doing everything I could to maximize yield, and leave the rest to higher powers.

God taught me a great lesson that year, do the best I knew how to do, keep learning of new advancements and applying those that worked, and leave the rest to Him.

I don't go to an organized Church every Sunday, but I do believe in God, the son, and the Holy Ghost.
