Subject: RE: Rasberries

SC Wisconsin
We have Caroline and Autumn Britten planted for fall raspberries. Caroline is currently going gangbusters, I've lost track of how many quarts we've frozen off a seven foot row this year. Autumn Britten is, and has been, a dud. They look good but never set much fruit. Thinking about spraying them with roundup next spring and letting the Caroline's take over that bed too.

I mow my raspberries down every fall. I'd rather have a bigger fall crop than two crops throughout the year. Plus, I've heard the disease angle too.
