McLeod County, MN

I certainly agree that Sept 1 stocks at 130 very likely deserve some "attention"

but I will strongly disagree with those who say the stocks were non-existent on Sept 1

there are still old crop beans in most elevators right now

not many in any one place, but it adds up

Any elevator in MN would be foolish to be holding ANY beans since CHS was paying around $13.50-14 for old crop, and bidding $9.50 for new crop. The elevators can go over the same basis cliff as us producers with physical on hand.
