North of London | Don't remember the number of the Allis but neighbour came over one night around midnight from his farm next door.
Second farms for both of us, not the home farms.
He was trying to finish ploughing and had no traction for a tramped strip and headlands.
So he ploughed in my field with his 4 furrow eagle hitch Allis plough while I went to his field with my Nuffield and 3 furrow plough to finish for him.
Yes the Allis had power but no traction. | |
