Maybe we are thinking of different things, but our little congregation's insurance policy is outrageous. Building is valued at something like $750,000 replacement cost, sub 50 members. And it seems sense all the liberal factions of our country want to sue churches over their pet movements, our liability insurance is crazy high. I'm talking multiple thousands a year for a little dinky congregation.

Like I said maybe we are talking about different things, and our congregation is independent. We are not associated with any synod or conference, which may make a difference.
